Herbal House Party
Happy New Year Everyone!
I hope that you all enjoyed the Winter Solstice and the darkest time of the year here in the northern hemisphere. During the beginning of December, I enjoyed my first Herbal House Party of the season. All who attended had a great time sampling herbal goodies and potions. The menu included medicinal chai, purple kale stir fried with maitake, shiitake and oyster mushrooms; spicy Elderberry Cordial, Damiana Delight Cordial (an aphrodisiac), and much more. Upcoming Herbal House Parties include an Herbal Valentine’s Party (love potions galore!) and a Magical Fairy Mixer Elixir. Stay tuned!

Featured Product of the Month: Siete Flores
Siete Flores is inspired by the traditional Mexican remedio Siete Azares, which is a tea made of seven flower blossoms and traditionally used for relaxation. I created Siete Flores also from seven flowers: four herbal flower blossoms and three flower essences. The herbal ingredients include passionflower, chamomile, scullcap and magnolia blossoms. These four herbs are called herbal nervines which are herbs that nourish and calm the nervous system. They are helpful with stress, tension, anxiety, insomnia, PMS, and many other nervous system disorders.
The other ingredients in Siete Flores include the flower essence of California Wild Rose, which helps to open our hearts and to feel love and joy. The flower essence Angelica connects us to our spirit guides and guardian angels, thus helping us to feel more protected, guided and comforted.
