The initial herbal consultation with Atava is a two-hour session with several components: First, Atava obtains a detailed description of her client's health issues to be addressed with herbal medicine. Secondly, she does an extensive intake of her client's health history, covering all the areas that influence one's current state of health, such as diet, lifestyle and emotional life. Finally, Atava creates an herbal formula individually designed for her client, which will address their unique physical constitution, physiological needs, and emotional and spiritual well-being.
After the initial consultation, Atava schedules to see her clients a week later for a follow-up visit to review how the herbs are working. After the follow-up visit, clients typically see Atava every month to six weeks to check in about their healing process and to receive a new herbal formula.

The intention of these sessions is to awaken each client to the healing power of plants and to empower each client to take their ability to heal into their own hands. A session with Atava also involves health education and counseling about making healthy choices in one's life.
All of the herbal tinctures and many of the flower essences in Atava's apothecary have been made with prayer and intention by Atava and her sister Jenny. In a Flower Essence Therapy session, Atava first talks with her client about the nature of their emotional, physical, spiritual and mental health. After listening carefully, Atava combines her knowledge of the flower essences along with her intuitive skills to create a uniquely designed flower essence remedy for each client.
A typical flower essence remedy will last for one month, after which Atava will schedule a follow-up visit with her client to track their healing process and to create a new remedy.

During an initial acupressure session Atava first asks her client to describe their health issues and the areas of their body where they feel pain and/or tension. Afterwards she takes a detailed health history and listens to the body's energy in the client's pulses. The pulses reveal where in the body's meridians the energy is blocked. Next, the client will lie fully clothed on the massage table as Atava uses different acupressure techniques to relax and open the body and to stimulate the flow of chi. As the client lay face down, she relaxes the back of the body using more vigorous acupressure techniques like Shiatsu and Tui na. As her client lay face up, Atava employs light finger pressure on your acupressure points to open up and balance the body's energetic pathways.
During an acupressure session with Atava, people report feeling deeply relaxed. After the session, clients feel decreased tension in their bodies, more energized, more balanced emotionally, and more in tune spiritually.

In a Deep Genealogy Coaching process, you will work one-on-one with Atava to navigate your personal ancestral remembrance process. Deep Genealogy coaching consists of individual sessions (in person, on internet, or by phone) that include dream work, ritual, genealogical & academic research, and spiritual support. Between sessions, you will be given assignments to support your process. Sessions come in packages of four, six or twelve, depending on the depth of work you would like to cover. Sessions are held weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Single sessions are also offered.
