Atava is a well-loved herbalist, teacher, and author. She loves connecting people to plants and their own ancestral medicine. She is the founder of Ancestral Apothecary School, in Huchiun (Oakland, CA) where she has helped train hundreds of herbalists and curanderx.

As a practitioner she specializes in supporting people with chronic health issues. She draws from years of experience with clients as well as her own experience with autoimmunity and cancer.
